NEW cartoon!: Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor (sort of)

Yes, I know it's shocking but I actually have a new cartoon. The topic is something that hasn't really been prominent in national news, but is a big issue in my hometown of Lowell--the pending deportation of 1,400 Cambodian refugees. My next cartoon (Aug. 16) will likely be about Harvard's screwy sexual assault policy, but I'm sure something horrifying is likely to happen in national politics by that time, so who knows?

One thing you might notice about the cartoon is that it looks... different. Unlike all my previous cartoons, which were a combination of old-fashioned ink (or ink-like pen) on paper and slight computer editing, this one was done completely on the computer (the writing is a font I made). This isn't a permanent change or anything, I was just trying out my new graphics tablet, which seems to be the solution to my carpal tunnel woes. Personally I think the slick computer style looks fine for this particular cartoon, but would be really out of place for most topics. And speaking of carpal tunnel, I want to thank all the nice people who sent me advice regarding trackballs, trackpads, etc.
