Tis the Season... to Buy Stuff

Cartoon books and posters make great gifts for politically-minded friends, or so I'd like to think. Anyway, I'm thinking of setting up sales (both on eBay and through this site) of items at various prices, from booklets and book combos to signed posters, signed prints, and actual original sketches and original cartoon art, all to be delivered on time for Christmas.

But before I go through the time and trouble, let me know by emailing me at toons@mikhaela.net or commenting in this blog whether you might be interested in prints, posters or sketches. What's your favorite Mikhaela cartoon? I also might do some T-shirts via Cafe Press, but those have never been big sellers. I haven't figured out specific prices for everything yet, but I imagine the range to be something like this:

$5 and under:
• Good News! cartoon booklet ($3.80 each) Every copy is signed, and it makes a lovely stocking stuffer.

$25 and under:
• Attitude 2. As with Good News, every copy is signed.
• T-shirts.
• Signed archival high-quality color inkjet 8 1/2" x 11" prints of selected cartoons, maybe done in limited editions of 15, not sure. Suitable for framing.
• Signed archival high-quality color inkjet mini-poster prints like those above, but at 13" x 19". Suitable for framing.

$50 and under:
• Original sketches and smaller cartoon artwork/drawings.

$100 and under
• Single-panel original cartoons accompanied by archival color prints of the final cartoon suitable for framing.

$175 and under
• Multi-panel original cartoons accompanied by archival color prints of the final cartoon suitable for framing.

So yeah... any interest? These are basically my normal prices--where the "sale" part comes in is with shipping--I might do free shipping for the Christmas season or a discount if you buy more than one piece. Insurance on the artwork will still cost extra, though.

Apologies for my recent silence...

... I've been laid up with a lower back injury. So I wasn't able to post the exciting news that one of my cartoons was featured in the L.A. Times on Sunday (my first appearance in a mainstream daily newspaper ever!). OK, this is too much excitement, back to lying down and mumbling under my breath about my aching back.
